STATUS: 07.04.08

Spacecraft Status

All spacecraft systems on AIM continue to operate nominally.  We had uplink receiver bitlock almost every day this week.

Instrument Status

SOFIE Release 2 improvements are being tested; these include solar source function corrections and adding non-LTE to the temperature retrievals.

CIPS continues to take excellent data.  We are now well into the cloud season and CIPS is providing beautiful cloud images.  To view preliminary CIPS images from this season go to the AIM website and the Get Data page, click on CIPS data, select June 2008, then click view images.

CDE is waiting on the next stim with all other SDC operations remaining nominal. The ground data production is currently undergoing some issues with the version 4 processing.  A flag that gets set was mixed up due to a data flow error.  This was corrected and version 4 is currently being reprocessed.
