Spacecraft Status

The final major Electronically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) patch was loaded to the On-Board Computer and initiated.  We still have one more minor patch to install.  All spacecraft systems are operating nominally and we’ve had uplink receiver bitlock every day.

Instrument Status

The SOFIE data shows the PMC season is underway. The SOFIE instrument continues to collect 100 % of events, and the data quality remains unchanged since initiation of data collection last May.  In addition, the processing team is on schedule for a major upgrade to the processing algorithms for release 2 at the end of June.

CIPS continues to provide excellent science data from all four cameras.  Further, our analysis of on-orbit calibration data shows that camera sensitivity has changed less than 0.5% since launch.  CIPS data sequencing automatically switched from the Southern to Northern Hemisphere on the first day of spring, as planned.  Data from the 2007/2008 southern season is now released and ready for analysis.

CDE has successfully transitioned out of Autonomy and into Normal ATS mode. Temperatures and voltages remain nominal.  The ground data processing is entering version 3.  This will take care of storing the noise identifiers in the files.
